Mom’s Thanksgiving Turkey Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread (6 slices)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1 Tbsp oil or 1/4 lb scrambled hamburger drained
  • 1 Tbsp grated Romano cheese

Directions

  • Beat eggs.
  • Add salt, parsley, oil/hamburger & cheese and mix.
  • Remove crusts from bread.
  • Break into chunks and add to eggs.
  • Mix well.
  • Stuff bird.

Zucchini Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 2 tbs. Baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 cups zucchini (1/2 lb. cubed tiny pieces)

Directions

  • Mix in bowl flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, allspice, and baking powder
  • Mix eggs, oil, and vanilla.
  • Add to flour mixture.
  • Grease 9 X 5 pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour
  • Cool 10 min. and remove from pan.

Italian Meat Pizza Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Salami
  • 1/2 lb. Capacola
  • 1/2 lb. Prosciuttini
  • 1/2 lb. Pepperoni
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 loaves bread dough

Directions

Roll half of dough and place in greased 15X 10X1 pan.
Layer salami, then Capacola.
Top with 1/2 of grated mozzarella cheese.
Layer Prosciuttini and pepperoni.
Carefully spoon 1/2 of eggs over top
Roll out rest of dough and cover.
Cut off excess dough and seal.
Prick top of dough with fork.
Bake at 350 for 45 min
After 5 min, prick dough again.
Remove from oven.
Brush crust with beaten eggs.
Shut off oven.
Leave pizza in another 1/2 hr.
Wed edges of dough to seal.

Italian Biscotti Recipe

Ingredients

  • Italian Biscotti3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cups of butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • Pinch of salt.
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tbsp. Anise
  • 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 1/2 cups of sifted flour (use 1 cup at a time)

Directions

  • Mix ingredients together
  • Dough cannot be sticky, just moist enough to handle.
  • Roll out in strips about 2 in. wide and 4 in. long.
  • Cook in 350 oven for 15 minutes.
  • Let cool and cut into smaller pieces.
