Ingredients
- 30 oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 15 oz. can diced tomatoes

- 6 oz. can of tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
- 1/2 lb. ground beef (if desired)
Directions
- Add all ingredients except ground beef to large saucepan.
- Brown ground beef and add to sauce mix.
- Simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes.

Crust
- 1 1/2 cups ground butter cookies
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Press on bottom and sides of greased 11 X 7 pan.
Filling
- 3 yolks
- 1 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 2/3 cups evaporated milk
- 1/2-cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Mix all ingredients together.
- Beat 3 egg whites until foamy.
- Add 1/4-cup sugar.
- Beat stiff. Fold into Filling.
- Pour over crust.
- Bake at 300 for 45 minutes.
- Cool.
- Refrigerate.

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
- ice cubes
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip Lite Whipped Topping, thawed
- 1 ready-to-use reduced-fat graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)
- or 1 ready-to-use chocolate or Oreo crumb crust (6 oz.)
Directions
- Add boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved.
- Add enough ice to cold water to make 1 cup. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice.
- Mix in Cool Whip.
- Refrigerate 20 to 30 min. or until mixture is very thick and will mound.
- Spoon into crust.
- Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
Variation

- Chop up 2 cups of strawberries.
- Set aside 1 cup in refrigerator.
- Add 1 cup of strawberries to gelatin/Cool Whip mixture.
- Top with strawberries after pie sets.
OK, this is not very Italian, but it is too good to leave out.

Ingredients
Directions

Beat eggs.
-
Add salt, parsley, oil/hamburger & cheese and mix.

Remove crusts from bread.
-
Break into chunks and add to eggs.

Mix well.

Stuff bird.
